Have you at any one point wanted to run away from it all? Wished that there was a place where worldly uncertainties never fazed you, where you are just happy, peaceful, and carefree? Have you ever been somewhere or with someone that made you feel like you’d want nothing more than to stay right there in that particular environment forever no questions asked?

I think trying to understand the decisions Isabella made in the Shakespeare book measure for measure, this is how she must have felt at the nunnery. So ready to get away from the uncertainties of the world, she was ready to be freed from all worry and insecurities for a safe, religious, pure environment in which she can worship…

But before I continue though, I must apologize for being MIA for so long. Like Isabella, I’ve had to deal with worldly uncertainties as well which brought me to today’s point of discussion.

Like unpredictable waves, a lot of times we are faced with different scenarios, decisions, and outcomes that completely change your life. It could be a new job, a new relationship, falling in and/or out of love, family, self-resolutions; just a number of things that ultimately end up forcing your hand leading you to become a different person, better or worse depending on who holds the most influential opinion.

It is important to note that sometimes, actually most of the time (if not all of the time) it is out of your control what happens in the next minute, hour, day, month, year or decade. You may set goals, create a plan, start the execution process, and even succeed always showing the determination drive and desire to achieve… but it is never a sure thing. Life will always throw unpredictable curve balls, good or bad, and we are somehow expected to learn how to deal with the change and make the most out of it.

Knowing it’s not easy to do, as it is not always common sense when life takes a turn for the different. We should have it in mind that life is like a bicycle; to keep balance you must keep moving regardless.

    1. Glad you do babe! We all have those days… mine maybe 5 out of seven days a week lol. Making the most of it… that’s the tricky part. And sadly life doesn’t stop for us…
